Dr. C. G. Suresh is a Senior Scientist and a X-ray Crystollagrapher from the Division of Biochemical Sciences, NCL, Pune. He has done his M.Sc. from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. He has done DIISc in Molecular Biophysics from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, and his Ph.D. in Molecular Biophysics from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. He has been a visitor to the Department of Chemistry, University of New York, for one-and-half years on a Department Biotechnology Fellowship. He has been the overseas coordinator of a collaborative link programme at that University. His current research interests are in structural biology, biomolecular crystallography, biophysics, conformation of sugars and proteins, bioinformatics, evolutionary genetics, mitochondrial DNA evolution and mitochondrial diseases. |
