IT & IGK |
|
Information Technology (IT) conventionally comprises all matters concerned with furtherance of computer science and technology. An Information Technologist is customarily someone who works with computer science and technology. The main focus of IGK in software is problem reduction for the user on one hand and undiluted focus on the immediate action. At IGK, we differ in our thinking of what is stereotypically defined as IT. For us, chemists with information about how they conduct hands-on research are as much masters in their field of Information Technology as are the chief scientists, who provide expert advice on science, technology and innovation issues; as are the decision makers who decide whether a specific project is to be pursued from commercial perspective, since all of them bring their knowledge of the domain to manage information, as we believe that R&D is all about information. |
We consider all the the domain experts who bring their proficiency in their respective branches to the table, as Information Technologists. It is our vision that technologists should be free to work on their technology without having to fight the technology used by them to conduct their work, helping them focus on benefits, not features; on value, not technology; on the user, not processes. Our products are designed to help the technologists in doing what they do best, thereby avoiding the need to learn the unnecessary. |
