RouteEdge™ Services

RouteEdge™ analyses the synthetic routes to determine the best possible route by using skills, knowledge and legacy information. This competitive data analysis is supported by our proprietary “route comparison tool” in eLabTool™ (applicable to Advanced RouteEdge™) which is uniquely positioned to evaluate the data quantitatively.

The decision is supported by the rich reaction database in eLabTool™ which covers exhaustively all types of reactions and transformation techniques ranging from simple pot boiling to complex multi-component multi-processes, green processes including catalyzed by enzymes, homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysts, microwave promoted as well as ionic liquids used as solvents

Basic RouteEdge™

  • Executive Summary about the target molecule
  • Literature and patent search covering known routes and analytical procedures
  • Compilation of available routes for the synthesis of target molecule
  • Complete updated bibliography pertaining to the routes
  • A full report covering all the details as per the approved scope

Novel RouteEdge™

This service is for designing routes for novel molecules and the scope is decided after discussion with the client. Based on the information provided by the CLIENT regarding the target molecule such as structure, the CONSULTANT will conduct the following studies:

    • Collect related literature including patent search
    • Design Routes based on retro schemes
    • Suggest technically viable routes.
    • Advice on hazards (chemical/reagent/process), safety aspects
    • Submit a full report covering the details as per the above scope.

     Advanced RouteEdge™

    • Basic RouteEdge is completed followed by other activities listed below
    • Route selection/recommendation based on practicality analysis emphasizing atom economy and “environmentally friendly” process
    • Suggesting commercially viable routes as well as novel routes and advice on “patentability” of the routes suggested
    • Advice on hazards (chemical/reagent/process), safety aspects
    • Complete updated bibliography pertaining to the routes.
    • A full report, covering all the details as per the approved scope
